The new HD 660S2 headphones from German audio powerhouse Sennheiser were unveiled in the nation on Tuesday for the price of 54,990.
The new Sennheiser HD 660S2 is available in premium retail locations as well as on all online platforms, including www.sennheiser-hearing.com, Amazon, Headphone Zone, and The Audio Store.
The HD 660S2 headphones were introduced by Sennheiser in India today, “setting new standards for audiophile sound,” according to a statement from the company.
The revised voice coil and better transducer airflow produce a refined listening experience.
“Our new Sennheiser HD 660S2 delivers listeners what they most frequently asked for from the headphones’ predecessor,” said Kapil Gulati, Sales Director – Consumer Hearing Business, Sonova.
Listeners will hear details they’ve never heard before, particularly at the lower end of the spectrum, according to Gulati. “With accuracy and power like no other and new sensitivity across all frequencies,” he continued.
The experience is also smoother and warmer overall than the original HD 660S thanks to a calibration that shortens the distances between a few key peaks and troughs.
The business claims that the updated 300-ohm transducers are placed at the ideal distance from the ear, creating a spacious soundstage with an abundance of information — even for prolonged musical exploration.
