WhatsApp’s new Terms and Privacy seems to have started getting negative reactions from the market as most of its users have begun to look for other options.
While most of its users have shown their interest in Moxie Marlinspike’s Signal, others are opting for Telegram that is headed by Pavel Durov, the Chief Executive of the Telegram Messenger LLP.

On January 7, 2021, Signal said that many new users are coming to the platform, due to which the verification codes are delayed across several providers.
Verification codes are currently delayed across several providers because so many new people are trying to join Signal right now (we can barely register our excitement). We are working with carriers to resolve this as quickly as possible. Hang in there.

Everyone should be able to register without delay again. Thanks to all of the carriers who flipped the right switches so that people can keep switching.

However, the company informed that the problem has been resolved with the network providers, after which there remains no problem in registration.
