For selected beta testers using iOS, WhatsApp, a messaging service owned by Meta, has started to roll out a new feature that enables users to search messages by date.
A report from WABetaInfo claims that the new feature will enable users to easily jump to a certain date within a discussion. Some beta testers can now use this feature in their chats and groups with the most recent update of WhatsApp for iOS 22.24.0.77.

Users must utilise the chat’s search tool if they want to check if the new functionality has been added to their accounts.
If a calendar icon shows, the feature is active on your WhatsApp account. The tool will reportedly be made accessible to more people in the following weeks.
