Telegram has come up with a host of special features for its users before the year 2021 ends.
In the 12th major update this year, Telegram added new features like reactions, message translation, themed QR codes, hidden text (spoilers) among others.
The updates have been introduced to further enhance the user chat experience on the platform.
Now, Telegram users can react to a message with emojis. Reactions are on for all private chats, in case of group chats and channels, the admins will decide whether the feature can be turned on.
The feature is already available on other apps like Instagram’s Direct Messaging, and Facebook Messenger.
Users of Telegram will also be able to translate any message into other languages. Translation feature is available on all Android devices that support Telegram.
Spoilers feature means a user can hide a certain portion of the text with the help of this formatting. This hidden text will apply to the chat list and notifications also.
Telegram users can also generate QR codes for any users that have a public username. The messaging app has also redesigned all the context menus for the macOS version.
But the new interactive versions of the new emojis have made their way to Telegram app. Users can send these in personal chats.
