The application for Telegram Chat has undergone significant updates, adding features like Power Saving Mode, Auto-Send Invite Links, Read Time in Small Groups, and more.
To extend the battery life of their devices, customers can now activate the Power Saving Mode option.
Resource-intensive functions like background updates, auto-playing videos and GIFs, sticker animations, and auto-playing videos are disabled when the battery reaches a particular percentage.
In Settings > Power Saving, Telegram stated that users could change the Power Saving mode or modify specific options for autoplay, animations, and effects.
The business also claimed to have evaluated more than 200 Android devices and to have “optimised default settings” for customers.
In addition to the battery-saving mode, Telegram also offers the Auto-Send Invite Links tool, which gives users discretion over who can add them to groups.
According to the business, you can now swiftly send someone an invite link in a message if they have restrictions on this.
Also, Telegram has launched a Read Time in Small Groups feature that displays the time that each member of groups with fewer than 100 users read a user’s message.
Along with this, the business is promoting features like enhanced iOS folder compatibility, animated emojis and interactive reactions, and playback speed control for movies in chat.
