Tesla moves its corporate headquarters from California to Texas

Tesla has officially moved its corporate headquarters from California to Texas. It is a large factory under construction outside of Austin, said the EV giant.

The announcement came Wednesday in a filing with US securities regulators.

Earlier, Tesla CEO Elon Musk had mentioned of this move at the company’s annual meeting.

As per the filing, the relocation from Palo Alto, California to Teexas was done on Wednesday only.

In the US regulatory filings, Tesla said it had about 71,000 employees worldwide. However, it is not clear yet if all of the headquarters employees would be moved too.

Elon Musk also said that he has moved his residence from California to Texas.

Recently, India-born techie Parag Agrawal became the CEO of Twitter. Elon Musk is quite an active user on Twitter.

How could he miss his shot at this development? Acknowledging the contribution of Indian talent, Tesla’s Elon Musk shared a photoshopped meme on Twitter’s new CEO Parag Agrawal.

The meme shows Parag Agrawal’s face photoshopped onto former USSR dictator Joseph Stalin’s body.

This comes after Mr Agrawal’s old tweet emerged and faced criticism over free speech on the social media platform.

The image also has Parag Agrawal’s predecessor Jack Dorsey standing beside him in one of the images.

The pic depicts Jack Dorsey as Nikolay Yezhov who was a close Stalin associate and was later assassinated under his orders.
