WhatsApp has added new shortcuts for group managers in the current update available on the App Store, according to platform tracker WABetaInfo. Because the platform now enables big groups of up to 1,024 individuals, the shortcuts would streamline various interactions with group members.
A screenshot posted by WABetaInfo reveals that phone numbers are shown in group events, such as when group participants join or leave a group.
Group administrators can tap the contact to immediately connect with the individual privately. They do not need to switch to another window to locate contact information.
The feature is available after installing the most recent WhatsApp for iOS update from the App Store, as well as the TestFlight app for beta testers.
This comes after WABetaInfo announced that the instant messaging network is trying to allow users to send photographs in their original quality. WhatsApp is anticipated to include a new setting icon within the drawing tool header that allows users to adjust the quality of any photo.
