Xiaomi launched the 4K version of its TV Stick internationally in December 2021. Finally, the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K has arrived in the Indian market, completing the company’s presence in the Smart TV sector. This supersedes the first-generation TV Stick, which debuted in 2020.
Xiaomi TV Stick 4K Specifications and Features
The new Xiaomi TV Stick differs from its predecessor in that it supports 4K resolution. This allows for improved colour reproduction and a more aesthetically appealing experience. There is also support for Dolby Vision improvements.
Users may cast their phones and tablets simply onto TVs using the built-in Chromecast capabilities of the TV Stick.
The streaming device in India uses Android 11 TV with the most recent PatchWall version on top, much as the international model. The Google Play Store offers hundreds of apps and OTT services, as well as Universal Search, smart collections, and access to Live TV, sports, and music.
Xiaomi TV Stick 4K: Storage and other features
For a surround sound experience, the Xiaomi TV Stick 4K also includes Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Technology. A quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage are among the specifications. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI 2.1, and a micro-USB power port are also supported (something that feels too obsolete now).
Users will receive a portable, lightweight device that is simple to carry, along with a Bluetooth-enabled remote control that supports Google Assistant voice controls and has specific keys for applications, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+ Hotstar.
Xiaomi TV Stick 4K: Cost
Starting on February 20, customers may purchase the new Xiaomi TV Stick 4k for Rs 4,999 only through the company’s website.
