Vivo Y20A is now part of the brand’s ever-evolving Y series of smartphones, joining the Vivo Y20 and the Vivo Y20i as an affordable smartphone.
In all respects, the Vivo Y20A is a downgrade of the Vivo Y20, as it comes with an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset. This contradicts previous leaks that claimed that the smartphone would have a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset.
However, the specs of the Vivo Y20A are very similar to those of its siblings, as all three smartphones share identical camera setup, battery capacity, screen size, and design elements. The Y20A, like all Vivo devices, is also being manufactured at the company’s facility in Greater Noida.
Vivo Y20A Specifications
The Vivo Y20A has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. On the front of the screen that houses the 8-megapixel selfie camera, there is a waterdrop-style notch.
The Vivo Y20A sports three rear cameras – a 13MP primary, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP bokeh camera. The smartphone also features a side fingerprint scanner, which Vivo claims can unlock the phone in just 0.26 seconds. It also comes with a 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging technology that can stream up to 17 hours of HD movies and allow 10 hours of gameplay.
