With the recent influx of new WhatsApp features, Meta has been on a roll. We recently acquired the option to utilise four separate phones and a single WhatsApp account, along with continuously disappearing messages. Now, we have a few upgrades for the well-known messaging programme Whatsapp as part of its ongoing effort to add new features. To learn more, keep reading below.
The announcement of new WhatsApp features
First, there is a WhatsApp Polls update. By simply turning off the “Allow multiple answers” setting before publishing the polls, you may now construct single-vote polls. This is to make sure that when you ask a question and are looking for an appropriate response, participants can only react once. Additionally, you will now be informed every time a vote is cast. The total number of votes cast in the poll will be shown in the notice.
There may be instances when you can’t answer a poll right away and finding it is a hassle. Not any longer, since you can now use the chat’s search feature to look up polls within a conversation just as you would for a specific conversation.
Additionally, WhatsApp has greatly increased the granularity and ease of sharing content on the platform. You can now choose to keep, delete, or totally rewrite the caption anytime you share any media that already has one, such as pictures, videos, and documents. When you forward media from one chat to another, the same feature is available.
Recall that the beta version of WhatsApp for Android recently added this feature. The improvements to WhatsApp have already begun to roll out globally, and everyone should have access to them in the upcoming weeks.
