WhatsApp to end group arguments with this new ‘Feature’

Published Date:

If you are stuck in an argument or a debate and left with no other choice on WhatsApp, the instant messaging App will soon make it easier for you.

How come? WhatsApp Group discussions- the upcoming feature. It will try this within the TestFlight beta program.

The WhatsApp Group polls feature, spotted by WABetaInfo shows that WhatsApp is working on an option to create polls within the app’s groups.

WhatsApp Community Feature

As per the screenshot of the app, the user can enter the question for a poll. Using “Create Poll” and “What is your poll question?”

So far, it can be said that WhatsApp seems to work on the same feature as on Facebook.

But these Polls won’t be available for single chats. It will be only within groups that you’ll be able to ask a question and others can vote on it.

As per WABetaInfo, even the polls will be end-to-end encrypted. Only group members can see the poll, answers and its results.

It will be one of the biggest feature updates from WhatsApp till date. So far, voting and polling have mostly been spotted on big and open social media platforms.
