Fans of BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) have been anticipating the game’s triumphant return from the day it was banned or de-listed in India. The rumour mill appears to be in motion, despite the lack of any official confirmation of the ban’s status or its return from either Krafton or the Indian Government.
According to the most recent rumour wave, the game might make a reappearance as early as January 2023. This originates from a number of well-known gaming figures, most notably content maker “AlphaClasher.” An anonymous user going by the handle “predatorsasuske” revealed during a recent live stream by them that the game would be making a comeback to the Google Play Store on January 15.
These rumours should be treated with a huge grain of salt, as is always the case with rumours of this nature. The rumour is still just that—a rumor—at this time. As of right now, there has been no formal confirmation.
In January, may BGMI make a comeback?
Hector, another content creator, recently expressed similar sentiments during a livestream in which he hinted that he had heard BGMI was returning in January. Fans can only wait impatiently for Krafton to drop the beans as there is currently no reliable information available.
Additionally, there have been rumours that Krafton is working diligently on two new games for the Indian market. The publisher will probably provide more information once the games are prepared for release because there are currently few details available about these titles.
Due to its enormous potential and the phenomenal success of BGMI/PUBG Mobile, India is a fairly fascinating market for Krafton. An unstable and perilous situation is created by the ongoing fear that the government will ban or delist the games. One can only hope that Krafton’s continued commitment to the Indian market hasn’t been affected by the recent developments.
