The Xiaomi 13, the newest flagship phone from Chinese tech firm Xiaomi, reportedly debuted last week. Although the release date of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is unknown, there are many rumours regarding its specifications and capabilities that are circulating online.
Over the past several days, there have been numerous rumours claiming the phone will boast one of the best cameras ever produced by the tech sector. Reputable website Digital Chat Station recently revealed some of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s key features.
Four cameras will likely be present on the smartphone, with the Sony IMX989 acting as the primary sensor. The IT industry has retained the sensor from the Xiaomi 12S Ultra.

A revolutionary feature of the next Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone is that it most likely has gimbal stabilisation. The rumour is that all four cameras will include PDAF focusing and direct time-of-flight (dToF) sensors. The circular camera housing design of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra will reportedly also be carried over to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
In the meantime, Xiaomi’s next flagship will come with MIUI 14, a fresh new Android skin. Xiaomi’s founder and CEO, Lei Jun, has revealed some of the most important information about the Xiaomi 13 phone, which already looks to be an improvement over Apple’s iPhone 14 of 2022.
Reports state that in the battery test, the Xiaomi 13 performed better than the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max. The Xiaomi CEO also said that the R&D team is now attempting to increase the phone’s battery life to two days. If cellphones are able to run for up to 48 hours without a charge, that will be admirable.
Due to Jiang Zemin’s untimely passing, the event to launch the smartphone in China was postponed from December 1 to December 2.
