TN sets up Commission to know enrollment ratio of govt school students in professional courses

WBCHSE Declares Class 12th Result

The Tamil Nadu government has constituted a commission to find the exact enrolment ratio of government school students in professional courses. The commission will be led by retired Chief Justice of Delhi High Court, D Murugesan.

The panel would be responsible for preparing and recommending remedial measures if it finds a government less number of government school students in the professional course like engineering, agriculture, veterinary sciences, fisheries, and law.

Appointing Justice D Murugesan as the head of the commission, Chief Minister MK Stalin, in an official release, said that the commission would submit its report to the government within a month. The commission would comprise 10 members including Justice Murugesan.

This comes after a representation stated that only fewer government school students got admission in the professional courses. The representation also sought measures to reverse the scenario.
