BSNL's New Tech Lets Users Make Calls Without a SIM: A Game Changer!
BSNL introduces Direct-to-Device technology, allowing users to make calls without a SIM card. This innovation challenges Mukesh Ambani and Bharti Mittal in connectivity!
In a groundbreaking move that could shake up the telecommunications industry, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has successfully completed trials for its innovative Direct-to-Device (D2D) technology in collaboration with global satellite communication firm Viasat. This new technology allows users to make calls without the need for a SIM card, challenging industry giants like Mukesh Ambani and Bharti Mittal.
Launched with the goal of enhancing connectivity, especially in remote and underserved areas, the D2D technology is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones, smartwatches, and other smart devices. It aims to provide seamless communication, even during network outages, by allowing devices to connect directly to satellite networks.
With this Direct-to-Device service, users can bypass traditional mobile towers and wired connections, much like how satellite phones operate. This means that mobile phones, smartwatches, and even cars can communicate reliably, regardless of location.
