Businessman Arrested for Stabbing Senior Citizen Over Parking Dispute in Bengalur
In a shocking incident in Bengaluru, a businessman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a senior citizen over a parking dispute. The attack occurred in the Nagarabhavi II Stage area of West Bengaluru, drawing attention to the rising issues of illegal parking in the city.
The accused, identified as Raghavendra J, who runs a second-hand car showroom, became involved in a heated argument with the victim’s family over parking their car outside his office. Reports suggest that the altercation escalated when Raghavendra began abusing the victim’s daughter-in-law while the 70-year-old advocate was away in court.
When the advocate, known as Dalapathi, returned from court, he intervened in the dispute. During this confrontation, Raghavendra allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the senior citizen. The accused fled the scene after the attempted murder. The victim was rushed to a private hospital in Bengaluru and admitted to the ICU, where he is currently under observation.
Following the incident, a formal complaint was filed with the Bengaluru police, and Raghavendra was arrested. He has been charged under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including Section 109 (attempt to murder).
