Darshan and Pavithra Gowda Bail Hearings Adjourned to September 27 and 25 in Renuka Swamy Murder Case
BENGALURU – The bail pleas of actor Darshan and actress Pavithra Gowda, both key accused in the high-profile Renuka Swamy murder case, have been delayed further. Darshan’s bail hearing, which was initially scheduled for earlier this week, has now been postponed to September 27. Similarly, Pavithra Gowda’s bail plea will be heard on September 25.
Both actors have been trying to secure bail, but due to the severity of the case, their requests have not been granted easily. Darshan is currently being held in Bellary Jail, while Pavithra Gowda awaits her hearing. The postponements were granted by Judge Jaishankar of the 57th CCH Court, after Special Public Prosecutor Prasanna Kumar requested more time to file objections.
The investigation into Renuka Swamy's murder recently concluded, with the charge sheet revealing several shocking details. Following the submission of the charge sheet, Darshan and other accused parties filed their bail pleas.
In a related development, Keshavamurthy, one of the co-accused, was granted bail by the High Court, offering a glimmer of hope for the other accused awaiting trial. However, with the serious nature of the charges, it remains uncertain whether Darshan and Pavithra Gowda will be granted bail.
Authorities fear that if granted bail, Darshan could use his influence to tamper with evidence, a concern that has contributed to the delays in his release.
The case continues to attract significant media attention, with the public closely watching the proceedings.
