Divorced Bride Matrimonial Ad Goes Viral

Nagpur, Maharashtra – A matrimonial advertisement from a 39-year-old divorcee has gone viral on social media, leaving users shocked and amused by her extravagant demands for a potential groom. The woman, a teacher from Nagpur, has set high expectations for her future husband, requiring that he earn at least ₹30 lakh per year. If the groom is an NRI, the minimum salary requirement jumps to ₹80 lakh per year.

At first glance, these demands might not seem overly surprising. However, what has caught everyone's attention is that the bride herself earns only ₹10,000 per month. Despite her modest income, her lifestyle expectations are luxurious, which has led to widespread trolling on social media.

Bride’s Demands: Salary, NRI Preference, and Luxurious Lifestyle

In her matrimonial profile, the woman shared details about her life and expectations. "I am a teacher by profession, with an annual salary of ₹1.32 lakh. I am divorced and now looking to remarry," she wrote. According to her, the groom should earn a minimum of ₹30 lakh annually and should be based in India, the U.S., or Europe. For NRIs, her requirement is an annual package of ₹80 lakh.

Additionally, the woman expressed her love for travel and staying in five-star hotels. She also expects her future husband to own at least a 3+ BHK home, where her parents could live with them. She made it clear that due to her work commitments, she would not be able to manage household chores and would need a cook and a maid to handle those responsibilities. She further stated her preference for living separately from her in-laws.

Trolled on Social Media

As soon as this advertisement surfaced on social media, users began trolling the woman for her unrealistic demands. One user commented, "She wants a husband who earns ₹30 lakh, but she makes ₹10,000 per month. That's the same as a maid’s salary in urban areas. But she wants her husband to support her lavish lifestyle."

Another user sarcastically wrote, "₹1.32 lakh per year, and she says she loves five-star hotels. I'm shocked!" A different comment read, "She can’t tolerate her in-laws but expects the poor man to live with her parents. She earns ₹10,000 a month and still wants a cook and a maid?"

Education and Career Preferences

In her profile, the woman also stated her preference for a software engineer or someone with an MBA or MS degree as her ideal match. Her demand for a high-earning groom, coupled with her luxurious lifestyle expectations, further fueled the reactions online.

The ad, which has now gone viral, continues to draw attention, with many finding humor in her demands, while others criticize the unrealistic nature of the expectations.

This viral matrimonial ad has certainly sparked a debate on social media about the balance between expectations and reality when it comes to marriage, leaving many users both shocked and entertained.
