Fake TTE Caught in Jhansi: Passengers Alert RPF After Spotting Suspicious 'Female TTE' on Train

JHANSI, Uttar Pradesh — In a bizarre incident on the Patalkot Express, passengers grew suspicious of a woman posing as a Traveling Ticket Examiner (TTE) and alerted the Railway Protection Force (RPF), leading to a shocking revelation.

The incident occurred on the Patalkot Express, which was traveling from Patalkot to Chhindwara. The woman, dressed in a white shirt with an ID card hanging around her neck, was seen checking tickets and fining passengers who did not have valid tickets. She even scolded a few passengers, which initially did not raise any alarms.

However, some vigilant passengers noticed something odd about her behavior and asked her to show her badge and ID properly. The woman was unable to provide satisfactory answers, which further fueled their suspicions. As a result, they decided to contact the RPF.

Upon arrival, the RPF officers questioned the woman and discovered that she was not an official TTE. She was, in fact, an imposter collecting money from passengers under the guise of a railway official. The RPF detained the woman and handed her over to the Government Railway Police (GRP), but the GRP reportedly hesitated to take further action.

The case has now been escalated to senior railway officials for further investigation. The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with a video of the fake TTE going viral. Many users expressed concern over how long the woman may have been deceiving passengers and profiting from her fraudulent activities.

One social media user commented, "It's alarming to think how many people she may have swindled already." Another noted, "There are always people ready to exploit ordinary citizens. It's always the passengers in sleeper and general compartments who suffer the most."

As this story unfolds, it serves as a reminder for passengers to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
