His fearless reporting brought justice to many victims and exposed major scams, including corruption in road construction projects. In 2021, Mukesh gained national recognition for rescuing a CRPF jawan from Naxal captivity through courageous negotiation.
The Incident: Murder Suspected Over Exposé
Mukesh’s last known location was a farmhouse owned by contractor Suresh Chandrakar, whose road construction project Mukesh had previously exposed for corruption. Mukesh’s brother, Yukesh Chandrakar, alleges that Suresh and his associates were angered by these revelations and orchestrated the murder.

The police have detained three suspects, including Suresh's brother, who were apprehended in Delhi and brought to Bijapur for interrogation. Evidence from the farmhouse is being analyzed as the investigation continues.
