A Bloodied Body Was Found on Tarn Taran's Piddi Link Road: Stabbing Murder Weapon Recovered, and Police Investigate Shocking Crime

Tarn Taran, Punjab: A battered body of an unidentified youth was found on Thursday morning along Piddi Link Road in Tarn Taran. The gruesome murder has sent shockwaves among people from local communities. Police have recovered a sharp weapon believed to be used in the crime and are investigating the case.

DSP Atul Soni, who was on the spot confirmed that the youth had been stabbed multiple times in the neck. "There was a call earlier this morning about a body found on Piddi Link Road. On reaching there, we found that it was a drenched-in-blood body and there was a sharp-edged weapon lying around. We are still trying to ascertain the identity of the boy as we have not found any identification documents on his body," DSP Soni confirmed.

Sharp Weapon Recovered from Crime Scene on Piddi Link Road

Villager said the body was first seen early in the morning. The report was sent to the village sarpanch, who got the police informed. The villagers have gone into a shock over the murder, with the security in this area being questioned by the locals themselves.

Murder at Tarn Taran: Police Probe the Motives

So far, no evidence of any particular motive has been found; the police suspect robbery or personal enmity between them. The officials are questioning all the nearby residents in order to gather more information about the victim and potential suspects.
