Thief Prays Before Lord Shiva, Then Steals Sacred Snake Idol – Watch the Shocking Video
In a bizarre incident from Chhapra, Bihar, a thief stole the sacred copper snake from around Lord Shiva's idol at a local temple. The theft occurred at Baba Batukeshwar Nath Temple, located in the Daulatganj Ratanpura neighborhood, under the jurisdiction of the Bhagwan Bazaar police station. The entire event was captured on CCTV, where the thief can be seen performing an unusual act—offering prayers before stealing the idol's copper snake and then apologizing with folded hands.
The temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, houses a historical Shivling. In the CCTV footage, the thief is seen entering the temple, heading straight to the Shivling, and praying before committing the theft. He then proceeds to remove the copper snake from around the idol’s neck. After successfully stealing the snake, the thief once again folds his hands in apology, hides the stolen item in his clothes, and calmly exits the temple.
