Late in the evening at Hanuman Chowk, chaos erupted on the road leading to Amam Wara Bazaar when two young men were caught red-handed trying to snatch a gold chain from a woman shopping in the market. The vigilant shopkeepers immediately informed the police, and personnel from the PCR and City Police Station arrived promptly to arrest the culprits. The police also seized their motorcycle, which had no license plates. Among the alleged thieves was a third-gender individual.
Victim Reetu recounted that while she was shopping, two young men on a motorcycle approached her and attempted to grab her gold chain. The chain was too tight, preventing them from taking it properly, causing it to break and fall. She immediately raised an alarm, and the shopkeepers quickly surrounded the duo, apprehending them along with their motorcycle.
