A video showing a man using the tricolor as a sack to fill fodder in a field went viral on social media. The incident occurred in the Audhuta village of the Shergarh area. When local residents confronted the accused at his house, an altercation ensued, leading to physical assault.

Police Action and Arrest

Following a complaint by a villager named Rocky, the police arrested the accused, Ali Khan, and his father, Mowju Khan. The duo has been booked under sections of the Prevention of Insults to National Honor Act and other relevant laws, including sections 2, 115 (2), and 352 of the Indian Penal Code. Both have been sent to judicial custody after being presented in court.

In the viral video, Ali Khan is seen using the national flag as a sack for fodder, which sparked widespread outrage. When Rocky and two others visited Khan's house to confront him, they were allegedly assaulted by Khan and his father. The accused defended himself by claiming he found the flag-turned-sack in a local market.
