Vinesh Phogat Responds to Sakshi Malik's Allegations in Latest Interview

Wrestler and Congress MLA from Julana, Vinesh Phogat, has hit back at fellow wrestler Sakshi Malik’s recent accusations. In a recent interview, Malik claimed that Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia were influenced by close associates, accusing them of greed. She also mentioned BJP leader Babita Phogat's role in allegedly instigating her.

Vinesh Phogat Denies Allegations

Reacting to the allegations, Vinesh Phogat questioned the basis of these claims, stating, What greed are we talking about? You should ask her.” Phogat went on to clarify that if standing up for fellow athletes and bringing home an Olympic medal is considered greed, then she is proud of it.

Phogat emphasized that her fight for justice is far from over and that it will continue until those guilty are held accountable.

Sakshi Malik’s Accusations

Malik’s allegations are part of her recently released book, Witness, in which she discusses her struggles throughout her wrestling career. Malik claims that her protest efforts weakened when those close to Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia allegedly began to influence them. She also accused Babita Phogat of using the protest for her own benefit.
