On the evening of Karva Chauth, a young man from Amethi was waiting for his wife when she unexpectedly returned home with four of her lovers. While he had fallen asleep, the woman had concocted a plan with her partners. She first stood outside with one of her lovers and claimed that her husband was ill, while chaos unfolded inside.

The incident took place in the Gauriganj area of Guvava, where Rajanisa filed a police complaint alleging that her husband, Badri Prasad Lodhi, died after taking his medication. According to her, Badri returned home late at night and developed a severe throat pain, prompting her to give him medicine from a local shop. Shortly after, he passed away.

Police began an investigation and conducted a post-mortem to determine the cause of death. Badri’s mother later filed a report accusing his wife and unknown individuals of murder. Upon reviewing call records, the police uncovered the truth: Rajanisa had orchestrated her husband’s murder with her four lovers.

Investigations revealed that Rajanisa had been having an affair with Subhash, a local resident. Badri had suspected this and often physically assaulted her. Besides Subhash, she also had illicit relationships with Paramanand and Anil, as well as a connection with Sahil from a neighboring village.

On the night of Karva Chauth, Rajanisa called Subhash to the house and plotted Badri’s murder. Subhash then summoned Paramanand, Anil, and Sahil, who proceeded to strangle Badri while he slept. Rajanisa and Subhash waited outside. Hearing Badri’s screams, villagers approached the house, prompting Rajanisa and Subhash to join in, ultimately leading to Badri's death.

Afterward, they deceived the villagers by claiming Badri was unwell. The police have since arrested all four suspects involved in this shocking case.
