In the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, SP’s Naseem Solanki retained the Sisamau seat, defeating BJP by 8,629 votes. Solanki attributed her win to public support and blessings, vowing to continue her work for the constituency. With a voter turnout of 49.3%, this marks the 28th consecutive year the BJP has failed to win the seat, despite heavy campaigning by CM Yogi Adityanath and senior BJP leaders.
