Sikar Accident: 7-Year-Old Hit by Speeding Vehicle While Chasing Kite, CCTV Footage Goes Viral

Sikar Accident: A 7-year-old boy, Shivam Bakolia, was seriously hurt while chasing a kite in Sikar's Losal region. The accident happened on 6 December and was even captured on CCTV. A third-grader, Shivam was playing with his mates after school when he went running across the road due to the kite. A speeding vehicle hit him and threw him 40-50 feet away. He received serious head injuries and was rushed immediately to Sikar's SK Hospital. His condition was critical, so he was shifted to a hospital in Jaipur, where he is undergoing treatment. According to Shivam's uncle Shravan Kumar, his father has been missing for two years, making things worse for the family. Now, Shivam has lost the ability to speak. The CCTV footage of the incident recorded the moment of impact-very vivid proof of just how dangerous speeding is to children. Community members gathered around the family, whilst Shivam continued in critical conditions. It serves as a grim reminder of a road safety campaign and greater vigilance especially in spots where children frequent.
