This song comes from its maker, Bhuban Badyakar who is a peanut-seller from West Bengal. He is a resident of the Kuraljuri village in Lakshminarayanpur Panchayat of Birbhaum district.

Badyakar keeps travelling to nearby villages in order to sell the peanuts by weight in exchange for bangles, trinkets among other valuables.
So, the Kacha Badam song is the way he attracts new customers. Kacha Badam was first captured and shared on YouTube by ‘Ektara’ channel.
This viral video on YouTube soon got viral on other platforms including Instagram. Musician Nazmu Reachat later created a remix of Badyakar’s tunes and set Internet on fire with netizens going mad over this song.
