After the Hijab ban and Halal meat, it is Sudarshan TV reporter who has now joined the debate over the use of Urdu on a Haldiram’s snack packet.
A video of a TV reporter has gone viral on social media. It shows her asking why a snack packet for Navratri has Urdu on it?
The store manager also comes off smartly by saying, “You can do whatever ma’am, Haldiram’s will not entertain such tantrums.” Calling it betraying Hindus who fast during Navratri sounds not only nonsense but comic too.
Haldiram’s snack pack Urdu use
The recent episode of attack from Sudarshan news reporter drew flak from various corners.
Some even suggested that this Haldiram’s packet is in Arabic as it is exported to the Middle East.
Many also came suggesting the reporter to ask the Indian Railways signages and currency notes that also use Urdu text.
Haldiram’s is not the only one, so far several eating joints and places have come under fire for non-vegetarian menus. But in this case, the store manager shuts up the rabble-rouser TV reporter like a BOSS.
Every story has a lesson. This too tells us how confidence and logic can help us combat rabble-rousers. One should never hesitate in facing those notorious elements who often try to disturb the communal harmony in the name of religion.
