A woman gave birth to a premature baby on a flight to Hawaii. The most surprising part of the story remains that the woman herself did not know that she was pregnant.
What’s even more surprising and interesting to know is that there happened to be a doctor on board the Salt Lake City-Honolulu flight.
Moreover, there were three neonatal intensive care nurses too. The team improvised with whatever equipments were available then and kept the baby stable for three hours until the plane landed.
The baby’s delivery took on board. Until then the team had to use an Apple Watch to monitor the baby’s heart rate during the flight.
As soon as the plane landed in Honolulu, medical response teams rushed to help the mother and baby on board.
