Dr. Ajay Kumar, a 1985 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the UPSC by President Droupadi Murmu.
He is a retired IAS officer from the 1985 batch. He worked in the Kerala state. He has done many big jobs in his career.
The old UPSC Chairman’s job ended on April 29. That is why Dr. Kumar was given this job now.
Along with Dr. Kumar appointment, Anuradha Prasad, a 1986 batch retired IAS officer of Odisha cadre, also took oath as a new UPSC member.
She is a Lady Shri Ram College graduate in Economics and holds M.A. in History from DU and a development admin degree from Birmingham University, UK.
He has 40 years of experience. He knows how to manage things well and is a very smart leader.
Under Dr. Kumar, UPSC may become faster and better. He may bring new ways to take exams.
