Unique Ways of Performing Worship in different religions –

Hinduism

There are various forms of worship in Hinduism, such as idol worship, yagya, aarti, and mantra chanting. It is customary to light lamps and offer prasad in front of the idols of gods and goddesses.

Islam

In Islam, Namaaz is read, which is done five times a day. In this, Allah is worshiped and Quran is recited.

Sikhism

In Sikhism, Ardaas and recitation of Guru Granth Sahib is done in "Gurudwara". Seva, Kirtan and Langar are important parts.

Christianity

In Christianity, prayers and Bible reading are done in the church. Candles are lit during the sermon and prayer by the priest.

Buddhism

Buddhism involves meditation and following the teachings of Buddha. Silent meditation and chanting mantras while sitting under the Bodhi tree is common.

Jainism

Jainism worships Tirthankaras in temples. Meditation, prayer and following non-violence are important.

Zoroastrianism

In Zoroastrianism, fire is considered sacred and is worshipped in the fire temple. Prayers are offered to Yazdan and teachings are given to follow the path of goodness.

Judaism

In Judaism, worship takes place in the "Synagogue". The Torah is read and special prayers are offered on the day of Shabbat.

Tibetan Buddhism

It involves chanting of mantras and meditation as well as worship under the guidance of lamas. Religious images and stupas are also worshipped.

Tribal Religion

Tribal religion worships nature, such as trees, mountains, and rivers. Worship of local deities and ancestors is also prevalent.
