As per reports, WhatsApp has now restored green colour notifications for its Android beta app. WhatsApp had started testing a dark blue colour notifications with the 2.21.12.12 beta update but it seems the colour change did not go well for the users.

As per the latest report by WhatsApp feature tracker WABetaInfo, the colour has been reverted to green due to feedback from the users.

WABetaInfo says users of the beta version complain that the new colour was not properly visible in notifications because of its contrast.

WhatsApp first tests new features in the beta version of its app. Then depending on the response and functionality, it brings them to the stable version.

Moreover, WhatsApp has made changes in its chat list on the app. The new changes are currently available for beta users on Android devices. CLICK HERE TO READ MORE

The line separator now will no longer exist between chat cells that appear on the chat list. The chat list shows the latest chats with contacts and groups.

In some of the recently made changes, WhatsApp also made it possible to play voice messages even faster than before.

WhatsApp announcing its new data privacy policy in early February had prompted the users to comply with it by February 8, 2021.

After much uproar over privacy concerns, the instant messaging app eventually agreed to make it implementable post the enactment of the Personal Data Protection Bill in India.

According to the new privacy policy, WhatsApp will share user-data with other Facebook companies only.

Furthermore, its new privacy policy affects data concerning exchanges with WhatsApp Business accounts. It has got nothing to do with the regular WhatsApp accounts.
