The online virtual Davos Agenda summit 2021 began this Sunday. Among the top leaders who will participate are PM Narendra Modi and Chinese premier Xi Jinping.
Davos Summit is a platform provided by the World Economic Forum. The world leaders discuss global affairs and collective goals.
The Davos Agenda Summit 2021 began with a customary welcome address by its founder Klaus Schwab.
According to reports, there would be 15 special addresses from G20 heads of state, government and organisations. The six day-long Davos summit 2021 will go on till 29 January.

PM Modi will deliver his address on January 28. The event will also have members of civil society and multilateral organisations among others.
Along with PM Modi, The Davos Agenda Summit will see Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, Harsh Vardhan and businessmen like Anand Mahindra and Shobana Kamineni.
The Agenda, therefore, a will be driven by the challenges posed by Covid-19 pandemic. Also, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will also address a session.
World leaders will deliberate over the coronavirus crisis, economic challenges and the post-corona future.
The Summit will also mark the launch of WEF’s Great Reset Initiative. However, the annual WEF meeting for 2021 will be held in May in Singapore.
