The lower house of the French parliament on February 15, 2021, unanimously passed anti radicalisation bill. This comes after a wave of Islamist militant attacks in the country.
It would help to keep an eye upon the mosque, schools, and sports clubs and promote French values to safeguard France from radical Islamist. It is one of the landmark projects of incumbent President Emmanuel Macron.
After the lower house of the French Parliament, the anti-radicalization bill will undergo a review in the Senate dominated by the center-right opposition. Senate will reportedly review on March 30, 2021.
