Israel bombed the house of the Hamas chief in Gaza on early May 16, 2021. This comes hours after the Islamist group fired rocket barrages at Tel Aviv in Israel late on May 15, 2021.

According to the Palestinian health officials, the airstrikes launched by Israeli forces killed at least three and injured many other Palestinians across the coastal region of Palestine.

Late on May 15, 2021, at least 10 people were injured in a rocket attack launched by the Islamist group in Tel Aviv, the Israeli healthcare professionals said.

At least 148 people have been killed in Palestine since the violence started on Monday. Those who lost their lives include 41 children, the health officials said. On the other hand, Israel has recorded 10 deaths including two children due to recent violence.

The efforts were made by the US, United Nations, and Egypt envoys to restore peace. But they are yet to show any sign of progress. A meeting is scheduled to be held by the United Nations late on Sunday. In this meeting, the outbreak of Israel-Palestinian violence will be discussed.
