Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, ahead of his meeting with US President Joe Biden made a big remark on US-Russia ties.

In an interview with NBC News, Putin said that U.S.-Russia relations are at their lowest point in recent years.

“We have a bilateral relationship that has deteriorated to its lowest point in recent years,” Putin said, as per an NBC translation of the interview broadcast on Friday.

Putin and Biden are scheduled to meet in Geneva on Wednesday. Moreover, Putin also praised former president Donald Trump. He calls him as ‘an extraordinary individual, talented individual,’ and said Biden, as a career politician, was ‘radically different’ from Trump.

When asked about Joe Biden’s killer remarks on him, Putin said he had heard dozens of such accusations. “This is not something I worry about in the least,” Putin said.

Switzerland is also ready to welcome the summit. This will be the first meet of Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden, that will take place in Geneva on June 16.
