A Russian TV journalist who disrupted news show with anti-war poster is missing, as per her lawyers.
Marina Ovsyannikova is a news editor, she had flashed the anti-war poster during live news on Sunday evening.
The dissenting employee of Channel One in Russia was taken to a police station after this serious breach.
Such incidents are often reported from countries known for muzzling dissent. China, North Korea, Myanmar under its current junta regime are some of the common examples where state-sponsored terrorism triumphs.
This is for the first time when the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine saw such reports of a missing Russian TV journalist. Also, it is noteworthy here that the show, during which, the editor flashed an anti-war poster, is watched by millions around Russia, particularly by older Russians.

During the “Vremya” news program that Maria Ovsyannikova, a Russian tv journalist, rushed in front of the camera with a poster saying “stop the war, don’t believe the propaganda.”
Moscow is coming up with new tactics to counter Ukraine. There are fresh reports of Russia planning to use chemical and biological weapons against Ukrainians, as per the White House.

Just below, the now missing journalist’s poster reads in Russian: “Stop the war. Don’t believe the propaganda. Here they are lying to you.” It reads, “Russians against the war”.
This is how the pacifist Russian journalist tried to register her protest. The cost she has to pay for this act only future will tell. While Andreyeva, who has presented the news since 1998, tried to out speak her by speaking louder.
The Russian TV Journalist was initially held in the duty room of the channel’s headquarters in Moscow, later she went missing.
Pavel Chikov, a human rights lawyer is supporting her. As per the TV Editor’s lawyers, she is missing.
