Trump claims 99% do not want him to accept defeat in US Polls

Published Date:

US President Donald Trump, who has still not accepted his defeat, on November 24, 2020, displayed a ‘Twitter Poll’ to validate his claim about the results of the 2020 US Presidential Polls. According to poll-result, 98.9 percent do not want Trump to concede his defeat in the elections, while only 1.1 percent of participants want him to accept the mandate given by the Americans.

“Should President Trump concede to Biden? Poll results: No: 190,593 (98.9%), Yes: 2,181 (1.1%) Total Votes: 192,774. @gregkellyusa @newsnewsmax. For the good of our Country, we must prevail!” US President Donald Trump tweeted.

Despite his defeat, which has been accepted even by some of the republican leaders and media houses in the country, he is still not mentally prepared to accept his loss. In the 2016 Presidential elections, he had defeated Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton. The Trump campaign has alleged massive electoral fraud and filed multiple suits to stop the counting of the votes. Many of his lawsuits have been dismissed by the courts.

Until recently, he had denied cooperating with Biden for the transition. However, Biden is now expected to receive classified intelligence. President-elect Joe Biden has also begun declaring his team players. He has nominated Antony Blinken for the post of Secretary of State of the United States.

Former Chair of the Federal Reserve, Janet Yellen, is expected to be elected as the new treasury secretary. Biden and vice president-elect Kamala Harris will take oath on January 20, 2021.
