US Election 2024: The results of the US Presidential election have started to come in, with early trends showing Republican candidate Donald Trump taking the lead over Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. To win the presidency, a candidate needs 270 electoral votes, and securing a majority in seven key swing states with a combined total of 93 electoral votes is crucial.

Trump Wins in Two Swing States, Leads in Five Others

So far, Trump has secured victories in North Carolina and Georgia, two critical swing states. Additionally, he is leading in the remaining five swing states. If Trump manages to maintain his lead and win these states, he is set to win the election.

  • Arizona: With 54% of votes counted, Trump leads by 1%.
  • Michigan: 71% of votes counted, Trump leads by 6%.
  • Wisconsin: 88% of votes counted, Trump leads by 4%.
  • Pennsylvania: 94% of votes counted, Trump leads by 3%.
  • Georgia: Trump wins with a 2.5% margin.
  • Nevada: With 70% of votes counted, Trump leads by 4%.

With early trends favoring Trump in these critical states, his campaign is optimistic about securing the 270 electoral votes needed for the presidency.
