Indian-origin In an interview with Fox News, Vivek Ramaswamy, a health care and technology sector entrepreneur, conservative commentator, and author, proclaimed his campaign for US president.
“I am delighted to announce tonight that I am running for president to resurrect those principles in this country,” Vivek Ramaswamy said, adding, “I believe we need to put the word’merit’ back into the word ‘America’ in every spirit of our lives.”
The 37-year-old author of “Woke, Inc.: Inside Corporate America’s Social Justice Hoax” was named “the CEO of Anti-Woke, Inc.” in a New Yorker magazine story last year.
Vivek Ramaswamy said that his campaign is “about the unapologetically pursuit of excellence in our society,” noting that it is “more than simply a political campaign; this is a cultural movement to create a new dream for the future generation of Americans.” It indicates that you believe in merit; that you advance in this country based on the quality of your character and contributions rather than the colour of your skin.
I grew up in Ohio in the 1990s as a tiny boy with nerdy glasses and a weird last name, said Vivek Ramaswamy, whose parents came from Kerala to the United States. My parents instilled in me the notion that if you’re going to stand out, you may as well be exceptional.
Achievement was my key to success. I later founded multibillion-dollar corporations. And I did it all while getting married, raising a family, and believing in God.”
Vivek Ramaswamy has also stated that he strongly supports merit-based immigration and will not show leniency to those who violated the law when entering the nation. Vivek Ramaswamy joins the Republican race following the announcements of former President Donald Trump and former South Carolina Governor and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley.
