Realme GT 7 Series India Launch Teased; GT 7, GT 7T Spotted on BIS

Realme GT 7 and GT 7T spotted on BIS, confirming India launch soon. Teased on X with a gaming focus, the phones promise 120fps BGMI gameplay support.

Realme is set to unveil its GT 7 series in India, a month after the Realme GT 7 was first launched in China. The firm has already hinted at the launch on X (formerly Twitter), with the tagline "Power that never stops", hinting at powerful hardware — possibly targeted towards mobile gamers.

Even though an official launch date has not been announced yet, the teaser assures that the India launch is around the corner. To add to the anticipation, an Amazon microsite shows that the GT 7 series has been co-tested with Krafton, the developers of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). As per Realme, these phones are capable of providing 120fps BGMI gaming for up to six hours, which makes them a great option for gaming enthusiasts.

GT 7 and GT 7T Spotted on BIS

Pre-launch, the Realme GT 7 and GT 7T have both appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. The listings, according to XpertPick, reveal two model numbers — RMX5061 for the GT 7 and RMX5085 for the GT 7T — indicating that the two devices will arrive together in India.

Although the listings do not provide any particular specifications, BIS certification typically suggests that the devices are at the final stages before hitting the market.

Potential India Variant Specs

Interestingly, there are hints that the Indian variant of the Realme GT 7 could be different from its Chinese avatar. Rumor has it that the India-bound GT 7 could be driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor, which would mean that the former could be a rebranded model of the Realme Neo 7, which went on sale in December.

That would see Realme follow its strategy of providing region-specific performance and market-oriented tweaks.
