Tata Motors Launches LNG-Powered Prima Trucks to Boost Green Mobility Efforts
Tata Motors has officially commenced the delivery of its Tata Prima 5530.S LNG-powered trucks to Clean Green Fuel and Logistics Pvt. Ltd., a leading player in the green fuel retailing and logistics industry. The first batch of 150 LNG trucks was handed over during a ceremony in New Delhi, marking a significant step towards sustainable transportation.
Collaboration for Green Mobility
Clean Green Fuel and Logistics Pvt. Ltd. has committed to expanding its fleet with an additional 350 LNG trucks, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Tata Motors. Milan Donga, Director of Clean Green Fuel, emphasized the importance of this collaboration in advancing green fuel solutions for the logistics sector.
Performance and Sustainability
Tata Motors' Vice President, Rajesh Kaul, highlighted that the Tata Prima 5530.S LNG trucks are designed for high performance, efficiency, and low emissions. Powered by a Cummins 6.7L gas engine, these trucks offer a range of over 1,000 km, making them ideal for long-haul transportation.
This move reinforces Tata Motors’ leadership in green mobility, as the company continues to innovate in the fields of battery electric, CNG, LNG, and hydrogen-powered vehicles, positioning itself at the forefront of sustainable transportation in India.
