Indian tourism leaders at ITB Asia spotlight Uttar Pradesh as a safe, premier destination. With high-end accommodations, modern infrastructure, and tourist-friendly services, UP offers a world-class travel experience and growing global appeal.

Uttar Pradesh was projected as a safe and world-class destination by Indian tourism industry leaders at ITB Asia in Singapore. The event took place from October 23 to 25, bringing together industry veterans who highlighted the positive advancements in UP tourism-from high-end hotels and enhanced safety measures to seamless travel infrastructure.

Rahul Wadhwa, head of CAL India Tours and Travel, stressed the fact that UP's attractions should be marketed beyond Taj Mahal. His Agra-based company is interested in building international tie-ups to elevate UP's tourism profile and is projecting a 10% growth in the UP travel industry. "The improvements in infrastructure, including five-star hotels, well-developed highways, and modern booking technologies, make travel smooth and enjoyable for tourists," he said.

The development in Indian travels would also transform the experience for international visitors. As Wadhwa pointed out, the shift from conventional booking systems to digital solutions-app-based-is a reality, and this ensures easier travel arrangements and easier convenience to global tourists.

Sushil Kumar Singh, managing director of Jatak Travels in Varanasi, said that India and especially UP is a safe destination. Singh mentions 200% post-COVID growth in his business with an urgent feeling that international visitors are getting confident about India's tourism offer. He says, "The atmosphere is tourist-friendly, and high-quality facilities are available everywhere across UP and India. Indian tourism destinations indeed possess world-class standards.".

The leaders of the tourism industry at ITB Asia portrayed UP as a place of cultural richness, modern luxury, and reliable safety, thus making India ready to welcome international travelers. With growing infrastructure and industry efforts, Uttar Pradesh is ready to be marked on the global tourism map.
