Greater Noida Pollution News: Fight Against Pollution, Water Sprays and Heavy Fines!

Updates Regarding Greater Noida Pollution, Greater Noida ups its game against pollution with 132 anti-smog guns, 66 water tankers, and ₹80,000 fines for burning garbage. Report the wrongdoings to join the clean-up!
 

As part of a bold effort to curb pollution, the Greater Noida Authority has stepped up its efforts to make the city's air cleaner for residents. The city has been divided into 18 zones, and supervisors and sanitary inspectors are actively monitoring the streets to keep them clean. Anyone burning garbage will be penalized with fines up to ₹80,000!

Greater Noida Pollution control with New Measures & Fines

As part of its green initiative, the Greater Noida Authority has stepped up measures to curb pollution by regulating waste disposal and standards of cleanliness. Vendors and residents are warned that littering or burning garbage will attract heavy fines. This will increase the cleanliness of the city and promote responsible waste disposal.

Implementation of GRAP Phase 2

The GRAP Phase 2 compliant, Greater Noida Authority CEO N.G. Ravi Kumar has requested that all departments such as health, horticulture, and project teams take every necessary step to reduce pollution. All the departments work in tandem to minimize the ever-increasing pollution and bring health to the city's environment.

State-of-the-Art Anti-Pollution Technology

To combat dust and smog, as many as 132 anti-smog guns have been installed at construction sites of Greater Noida. Additionally, 66 water tankers are sprays continuously treated water on roads to settle dust at sewage treatment facilities. Aiding this are four mechanical sweepers and 10 water tankers that not only maintain cleanliness but refresh greenery by keeping dust off trees.

The Greater Noida Authority appeals for this effort from the citizens. Assistant CEO Ashutosh Dwivedi urges residents to file complaints regarding garbage fires on the authority's hotline at 0120-2336046/47/48/49 or the Mitra app so community participation towards a cleaner Greater Noida materializes.
