Sanchit Kohli controversy: No Ticket, No Payment - 'Youth Leader' Stops Taking Calls Of Vendors, Ad Company
Sanchit Kohli controversy: After failing to secure a Congress ticket, youth leader Sanchit Kohli allegedly left vendors and ad companies unpaid, ignoring their calls and dues for election services. This has raised concerns about trust in his future dealings.
Sanchit Kohli controversy: It’s often said that politicians are loyal to no one. During election time, you’ll find people like Sanchit Kohli bowing before everyone, from the rickshaw driver to the village leader. But once the elections are over, they reveal their true colors. If they win, great; if not, they avoid paying anyone and don’t even answer calls. To them, the election was just an investment, and if it didn’t work out, then why bother paying anyone?
But what Sanchit Kohli doesn’t consider is that the people who printed his promotional materials, arranged media coverage, set up tents, and served tea and snacks to the crowd all depend on that money for their livelihood. Why would he think about this? After all, he’s a politician, and for him, it’s just business as usual.
And if Sanchit Kohli skips paying anyone, what can they do about it? This is the unfortunate reality faced by one such politician, Sanchit Kohli from Faridabad, who was vying for a Congress ticket. He put in the effort, spent money, but ultimately, Sanchit Kohli didn’t get the ticket. Instead, it was given to an old guard, Lakhan Singla.

Being a younger candidate, people hesitated to pressure Sanchit Kohli for payments right away. But Sanchit Kohli took things to another level. Not only did he refuse to pay the ad agency (name withheld), the social media company, and even an event management company, but now Sanchit Kohli doesn’t even pick up their calls.
If someone were to ask Sanchit Kohli, how does he expect people, the media, or even his own party to trust him in the future if he behaves this way in his very first campaign?
With elections in Delhi just around the corner, everyone working with politicians is being advised to collect their payments in advance. After all, with politicians like Sanchit Kohli, there’s no guarantee they’ll ever pay up once the election is over.
