CMF Phone 2 Pro Launch Today: Full Specs, Features, and Design Changes Explained
Nothing's sub-brand CMF is all set to launch the CMF Phone 2 Pro today. With the success of the first-generation CMF Phone 1, which received a good market response for its beautiful looks and affordable price tag, much is expected from this second-generation phone. Can CMF repeat the same blend of performance and price? The launch event will shortly answer this question.
Before the official announcement, below is a detailed summary of the confirmed information regarding the CMF Phone 2 Pro.
Main Improvements from CMF Phone 1
The CMF Phone 2 Pro is set to be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor, an improvement over the Dimensity 7300 in the initial CMF Phone 1. The phone will be released with Android 15, topped with Nothing OS 3.1, the same software found on the latest Nothing 3a and 3a Pro devices.
Battery and Camera
The new Phone 2 Pro will have a 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charging support — not a significant boost in battery size over the old one. The one notable boost, though, is on the camera side: the Phone 2 Pro will feature a triple camera setup. That's a 50MP telephoto camera paired with an ultra-wide snapper, which is a major step up over the old generation's camera.
Display Enhancements
The CMF Phone 2 Pro will boast a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will also feature the Essential Key, initially available in the Nothing 3a and 3a Pro, with additional functionality and customization.

Key Design Upgrades
CMF is also giving the phone a new look to differentiate it from the previous model. The rear panel of the CMF Phone 2 Pro will feature a gradient brightness effect, darkening towards the bottom. The white color model will change from white at the top to silver towards the bottom, and the orange model will darken gradually as well.
