Update Details
The October 2024 security update is being delivered to Galaxy S23 series users through the following One UI build versions:
- Galaxy S23 – S911USQS4CXI4
- Galaxy S23 Plus – S916USQS4CXI4
- Galaxy S23 Ultra – S918USQS4CXI4
The update is approximately 400MB in size and includes important fixes aimed at improving the stability and security of your device. Samsung has addressed several issues reported in previous versions, making the Galaxy S23 series more secure for users.
Security Enhancements
The October 2024 security update tackles various vulnerabilities in both Google’s Android operating system and Samsung’s software. Google has fixed 2 critical and 28 high-level issues, with 1 previously resolved issue and 2 that don’t affect Galaxy devices.
Additionally, Samsung has patched 12 specific vulnerabilities related to system services and Knox security. Samsung Semiconductor also enhanced performance by addressing 1 high-level issue, ensuring better security and performance for Galaxy S23 users.
