Honda Launches 2025 Dio 125: Price, Features, and Funky New Looks
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2025 Dio 125, a new version of its best-selling scooter that brings together sporty looks, feature upgrades, and improved fuel efficiency. Priced at Rs. 96,749 (ex-showroom, Pune), this new Dio 125 is targeted at the youth with an ideal blend of style, performance, and technology.
Targeting the Youth with Improved Features
The Dio 125 has been updated with a young rider in mind who wants a scooter that can keep up with their technologically advanced lifestyle. The new Dio 125 is powered by a 123.92cc single-cylinder engine with PGM-Fi technology, producing 6.11 kW of power and 10.5 Nm of torque. The engine is fuel-efficient with an Idling Stop System to minimize fuel consumption.
In design, Honda retained the distinctive Dio profile, making it more dramatic with aggressive new graphics and bold colour options to win over Gen Z. The scooter has also been OBD2B (On-Board Diagnostics) compliant, promising more performance and lower emissions.
Loaded with New Technology and Convenience Features
One of the high points of the updates on the 2025 Dio 125 is the addition of a 4.2-inch TFT display, which offers real-time information on mileage, trip meters, range, and eco indicators. This new display is also compatible with the Honda RoadSync app, which enables riders to have call/message alerts and navigation directly from their scooter.
Besides that, the Dio 125 is also equipped with contemporary features such as a Smart Key, USB Type-C charging socket, and engine start/stop system to make it more convenient and overall riding experience better for consumers.
Honda Dio 125: Pricing and Variant Options
The new Dio 125 comes in two versions: the DLX model at Rs. 96,749 and the H-Smart version at Rs. 1,02,144 (both ex-showroom, Pune). The bike is available in five bold colors: Mat Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Sports Yellow, Pearl Igneous Black, and Imperial Red.
